240 fresh cases of COVID19 recorded in Nigeria

The Nigeria Center for Disease Control NCDC says 240 new cases of COVID19 have were recorded in Nigeria on Sunday, February 28. Accoridng to the statistics released by the agency, Anambra had 85 fresh cases while Lagos recorded 82 fresh cases. Other states with fresh cases include Osun-17, Ogun-10, Kwara-9, FCT-8, Kano-7, Abia-6, Borno-4, Edo-2, Bayelsa-2, Kaduna-2 and Rivers-1. Nigeria now has 155,657 confirmed cases. 133,768 patients have been successfully treated and discharged while 1,907 deaths have so far been recorded. 542 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Nigeria

542 new cases of COVID-19 were recorded in Nigeria on Monday, February 22, 2021. According to the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC), Lagos recorded 99 new cases, the highest for the day.  Other states with new cases include Kwara-91, Ebonyi-48, Ogun-44, Kaduna-42, Oyo-33, Ondo-25, FCT-24, Kebbi-23, Osun-20, Ekiti-17, Nasarawa-12, Imo-11, Delta-10, Gombe-9, Kano-8, Katsina-7, Rivers-7, Edo-5, Plateau-4 and Bauchi-3.  The agency also disclosed that they were 193 community recoveries in Lagos State and 113 in Kwara State.  According to NCDC, a backlog of deaths were recorded in Lagos State… Read more 542 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Nigeria
